Skateboard History
The McTwist was invented by Mike McGill in 1984. He first performed it on a wooden half-pipe in Sweden. The McTwist is an aerial skate trick where the skater performs an “Inverted Backside 540” with the front hand grabbing the toe side of the skateboard (Mute Grab).
